At eme design we aim to create beautiful and sustainable architecture tailored to our clients' needs.
Over the past 12 years we have been designing award winning projects from large scale urban design to residential architecture and educational buildings. We create delightful spaces designed to be enjoyed, whilst also embedding efficiencies to ensure the long term performance of the building. What we design today, must work with its current context, cultural and environmental, it should also respond to future scenarios. After all good buildings should last for at least 100 years.
Underlining the Eme approach is a wholistic life-cycle review. We don't have a 'house' style, instead we recognise every project is an opportunity to explore the uniqueness of the site, neighbourhood and the clients and users.
We see beauty in many ways. In the aesthetic such as form, movement, light and texture. We design experientially and strive to maximise the seasons, weather, views and landscape to create more dynamic designs.
We aim to maximise efficiency with all our buildings. We go well beyond the green star ratings and look at efficient use of space, efficiency in construction and the use of local materials that are ecological and energy efficient yet also robust and long lasting.
We are passionate about our design philosophy and over the past 5 years, have been testing and monitoring our buildings, gathering empirical results so we can apply our learnings.
